Gold Edition
Is it really worth buying Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition?

I mean, I'm a die-hard fan of the series (since its first release back on 1996) and I already own a RE5 copy. All I want to know is: are the Gold Edition bonus stuffs worth playing? How many hours of game play fun I'm gonna have? Thank you all.

I'm also a fan of the series, i had gotten almost every achievement in the game before the DLC. I have Infinite Ammo for all guns. The DLC does have a lot of play time,I spent alot of time getting all of the achievements for LIN and DE. The First Part of Lost In Nightmares is PRETTY easy, a few classic RE1 puzzles but nothing frustrating. Maybe takes about 10 Mins on Amatuer, but it can take up to 2 Hours on Professional if your not used to fighting Bosses as Regular Enemies.Heres a Walkthrough of Lost In Nightmare's from my Perspective, i am a seasoned veteran of RE5. I have over 3.5Million Dollars ingame and all weapons infinite ammo without using the Egg glitch. I also have 1310 out of the 1400Gamerscore for the game.

First Area- Cutscene Happens, You Enter a room that Strikingly resembles the first room of RE1 when wesker and jill and chris all talk for a moment then go their seperate ways.Sorry, i might not be super specific about details since i cant really think right now because my fucking niece is screaming her fucking head off. She sound like an RE4 Particle Cannon charging up then firing a bloodcurtling scream of tears and sadness. >:-0.
Anyway, the First Area looks pretty identical to the RE1 opening room. So i wont go into great detail. Heres a picture of the first area.

Copy the Link into search bar.

From entering the first area to entering the second area, which to me is when you open the Bamboo gate thats under the staircase, this is the app completion time of the First Area.

Amatuer- No Enemies, Smooth Sailing. 10 Mins, Almost No Weapon Pickups

Normal- No Enemies, Smooth Sailing, a Decreased Death time for the Spike Room, You'll know when you get there what the spike room is. Maybe 1 to 2 weapon pickups. 20-30Mins

Veteran- Some Resistance, But Nothing alot of fire power cant handle. The Enemies are pretty much the Axe Men from Chapter 1-1 except in teh RE1esque style. More Decreased time for Spike Room, 3-4 Weapon Pickups, with low ammo though. 40-60 Mins (with a few deaths)

Professional- A lot of Resistance, at least 6 guys from the start of First Area to Start of Second Area. Much Weaponry, I'm a little foggy about how many but i know weaponry is in GOOD supply.

I have pretty much calculated the time of gameplay you will have for LIN,DE,Mercenaries Reunion, and Versus.

LIN- 13-40Hours of Gameplay, Depending on Difficulty and what you want to get.

DE- 17-60 Hours of Gameplay, Depending on Difficulty, MANY hard Achievments for Desperate Escape, it is atleast 3 times more longer than LIN and is a bich to beat on PROfessional.

Merc's Reunion- Infinite Hours of Gameplay,Everythings unlocked from the beginning so their not really anything to achieve except alot of fun with old but familiar characters.

Versus- I Honesly think that versus is a BIG waste of time. 0 Fun Hours if Gameplay.

Good Luck on your decision, if you have any questions dont Hesitate to IM me or Email me. Adios
