Why does my computer feeze and buffer after installing more memory?
A few months ago I replaced the video graphics card from the one you see below to a NVIDIA GeFORCE 8500 GT 512MB card which works great; you can really tell a difference and I had no problems. A couple days ago I wanted to add an extra gig of memory to my pc. In looking at the specs below you can see that I have a dual channel memory system, so I removed both of the 512MB memory chips and installed 2 of the 1GB PNY DDR2 memory chips. Ever since I installed them my computer buffers and freezes when trying to watch or stream videos. Please help.

its possible the memory you installed is not working properly or the speed is incompatible with you r system....double check the type of memory and speed ratings to make sure its the right kind.
