Why does my computer think I have a floppy drive?
I had my computer for months(since october) I never seen a floppy drive on my computer. The computer didn't recognize a floppy drive either. I open "my computer" today , and it had a icon and says Floppy Disk Drive(A:). THe computer is a dell 530s. Could there be some hidden floppy drive in it? Why is it just showing up now?
Don't worry about that I also have no Floppy and it shows.The problem is that you always have a drive "A" which is floppy and drive "B" is not shown-the old 5 1/2 inch floppy.Because you can still install a Floppy that letter is still in your computer till the Floppy dies out and the companies change that.
