BIOS Settings for new build?
Hi,
Anyone know a safe BIOS config for the following build? I won't be OC'ing.
Motherboard: G-B X48-DQ6
CPU: Intel Q9300
A Grade DDR2 Memory: (x2) 2G-800 Kingston
Hard Disk: Seagate SATA 750G
VGA Card: 512M 8800GT Asus
DVD Drive: ASUS SATA DL DVD-RW (Black)
Floppy Drive: Black 1.44M
Keyboard + Mouse: OEM Logitech Desktop 250 (Black)
PSU: Thermaltake ToughPower 600W
Case: Thermaltake Soprano Full Tower RS100 (Black)
hi dear.
bios setting hasnt affinity with all of ur computer devices, but CPU and motherboard.
the important thing is ur cpu clock, that can configure in ur motherboard bios.
however when u enter ur computer bios setting (press delete in the first screen when u turnin on ur pc) in right side of ur menu u have some option that named "load safe bios setup" it has been seen before.u can press enter and ur bios setting will set to it's safe configuration.
by the way. . . fail safe bios setup disables some integrated peripherals of ur motherboard such as unboard lan or unboard sound card. u can disable them manually from the setup. and it sets normal cpu clock too.
