Has anyone here updated bios via usb floppy?
I have flashed using internal fdd and cd rom, but would like to use an external, are they reliable and do they work on most systems?
Ya gotta love the ole floppy drive, that thing will never go away.
I have used a USB floppy to update BIOS.
Worked without a fault. I keep it handy for those jobs you can only do with a floppy. There are not many jobs like that - but its a lot less hassle that specially formatting a flash drive to act like a floppy.
Should work any USB2 motherboard - and probably some USB1 aswell.
