Why does the fan in the car work on 4 and not 1-3 on a dodge 2004 stratus es?
The fan for the air and heating in the car does not work on settings 1-3. Is there something I can check before I take it to a repair shop?
your problem lies in the fan reostat replace it with a part from the dealer and problem will be solved one of the above answers is incorrect ! there is a relay for high speed fan operation and the reostat controlls lower speed's of the blower motor the reostat is located in the hvac unit right next to the blower motor on the passenger side of the veh, it is rectangular in shape with like a 8 way electrical connector
