How can I improve my 100m sprint time?
Last year, I ran a 100m in 11.89 seconds. I've got a goal to dop to under 11.50 seconds for this years track season and I want to know if anyone knows what can help. I ran my time of 11.89 without using any blocks but i did you track cleats/spikes.
Keep using spikes, learn how to use blocks as well. When you start without blocks your body tends to go up, then forward. When you start from blocks you propel yourself forward out of the blocks and have a slight lean forward while running. They help tremendously.
You should do your practice workouts, and lift to work out your legs. Try doing squats and leg work to build up muscle strength, try plyometrics.
