How to reduce noisy fan of the XFX Geforce 8800GT 512MB Alpha Dog?
The fan's really loud, how do i tweak it to run slower, finding ways to dampen the sound
You have a bearing going in your fan
Temporary solution
1) peel of the little center sticker on fan
2) Put a small drop and I mean small drop of light machine oil on bearing
3) replace sticker and test run with side cover off
