Will TVs connected directly to cable without a cable box still work after the digital transition? Confused...?

I have expanded basic cable from Comcast (channels 2-75) and it's connected directly to my TV. I do not have a cable box. My TV is an HDTV and does have a QAM tuner. I am able to pick up some DTV channels (just my locals).

So I'm confused; after the transition, will my current set up not work? Will I have to scan the available DTV channels, or will it be the same for me? Will the cable channels still work as I have them? And will I be able to access all my channels on DTV, or will it remain only the locals?

Please someone clear this up for me! Thanks

Yes it will still work. The digital transition only affects people who get television signals over their air through an antenna.
