I just got a used Dell Latitude and I got video problems?
It's a Dell Latitude CPi-A Series laptop. I installed Win2000 Pro on it and I installed all of the updates on the microsoft site. It has a NeoMagic 2.5mb Graphics Adapter in it and I installed the newest drivers I could find for it but when I try and play a small Family Guy episode the video is choppy but the audio is good. Is there a way to squeeze more performance out of the adapter? I have seen the Z-Tweaked drivers but I don't know if there is one for my laptop.
I just got this laptop for cheap and I only want to use it for portable internet, music and movies. I am going to upgrade the hard drive and ram so maybe that will help.
I think its just too old. 2.5 MB is really a small amount.
If it has a PCMCIA card slot, I've heard that you may be able to get a video card expansion. Anything you get should be better.
