A nearby lake is to be treated with Cutrine Plus, a copper based algaecide/herbicide.?
Does anyone have information regarding it's safety? I've read the MSDS material and done some online searches and generally want to know if this stuff is safe. No "opinions" please, facts & data.
*Assuming of course, applied properly. I simply want to know if it's safe for my kid to swim in that body of water afterward.
Update: If you read through the case study, they report levels of copper that are good enough for drinking water. In a local lake the bacteria level would be the biggest concern, not this chemical.

Of course it depends on your definition of "safe". Can a human screw it up, of course. In recommended dosages, the facts appear to support its use.
