Fiber to ethernet converter + ethernet switch with poe?
I need to attach 4 wifi 2.4ghz routers to the fiber line.
Currently I am planning on using a fiber to ethernet converter and then a switch with poe to power the routers. The routers suport POE and max load is 8-10 w.
Is there any fiber to ethernet converter with multiple rj45 poe enabled ports?
Will it be better to use separate devices for media converter and switch?
Which devices you recommend in low budget?
You are not going to find a media converter that converts fiber to multiple ethernet ports. Also you aren't sending power over the fiber so you'd have to inject it.
Your plan to use the switch is a good one. The only thing I would ask is why not use a switch that has a fiber port on it? A switch with POE and a fiber port would essentially give you everything you are asking for. I know that there are cisco 3750's that would work but those are not cheap and probably have more ports than you want.
