When i turn on my computer it makes a loud engine sound? Please help me!?
Ok when i turn on my computer the computer will not make any noise for about 5-10mins or unless i start up a application for instance(Internet, or World of Warcraft).Then it starts to make this loud engine noise and you can hear it anywhere in the house!please i need help to fix this problem! i know its coming from the fan.
System Details:
-I have a Compaq Presario PC-SR5010NX
-Intel(R) Celeron(R) D CPU 3.46GHz 3.47 GHz
-1527 MB Ram
-32-bit Operating system
-Vista 
(Home Basic)
I hear from some people that u can Remove the fan (just the fan - leave the heatsink in place)
Remove the sticker from the centre underneath
Drop some oil in the hole
Put the sticker back on
Re-attach the fan and the porblem should be fix. Can it? Or is there other way.
It's definitely the fan's fault. When your computer gets hot, the fan spins faster, making noise. You should get another fan.
