will a dvd rewriter work with intel celeron cpu?
I was given a samsung dvd rewriter as a present but on reading the manual, system requirements state a cpu of 4.20 ghz is required. I have Intel Celeron 2.60 ghz. Does this mean the rewriter is useless unless I upgrade the cpu, and, if so, what would anyone recommend as an upgrade. My motherboard is ECS 661 FX-M (Deluxe). Socket 478, Real clock 100mhz(QDR), effective clock 400mhz. I hope these details make sense as I am no expert. Thank you.
Hi Jonathon, it is a Samsung 22xsuper-writemaster sh-s223. the answers I have received so far tell me it should be ok as some are using a rewriter with even less power than I have. hope this helps if you can give me any more info.
