What was the XFX 8800 gts 320 MB graphics card retail price when it first came out?
Ive seen prices from £70 all the way to £200. Im just curious to see if i got a sweet deal.

yes,the xfx 8800gts retailed for around £250 when it was first released however with the speed at which graphic card are released this priced dropped right down to £200 within about 4 months
however today and if you look in the right place you can get it for well under £100,for example i saw it on the aria website for £55 as a superspecial(offer) however with only 5 avalible at this price you can only imagine how quick they sold
the same applies with the gtx260,on release this was equivelent to the 8800gts(little brother of the big card) and retailed for just under £300(with the gtx280 around £400) however i have seen it on aria for £109.95 exc. VAT ( http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/nVidia+GeForce+GTX+260+896MB+PCI-E+?productId=34394)
so it just goes to show its sometimes worth waiting for a few months,and as i mentioned with the speed at which new cards are getting released the prices are dropping right down
