How do you put games on a completely blank r4 card?
My sister has just bought and r4 card and it is completely blank. How do I put games on it? do I have to install anything? The r4 didn't come with any disk. Thankyouuuu x
Firstly, do you have a Micro SD card inserted into the R4 card? If not, you will need to get one (you will also need an adaptor to allow you to connect the Micro SD card to your computer; if you buy it new it should come with it).
Secondly, if you don't have the disk with the firmware on it, then you need to go to www.r4ds.com and download the latest kernel (v1.18 right now I think). After doing so, you put all of the files you downloaded into the Micro SD card. I also recommend that you create a folder called "Games" in the SD card. It's not necessary but it makes it easier to organize. Then you can start putting game files in that folder and everything should work okay.
