Does an HDTV cable box have an ATSC tuner in it?
I'm going to get HDTV from Charter Communications and I think the box they'll give me is an SA Explorer 8300. I'm looking at an Olevia 237V tv with integrated ATSC, but I wanted to know anyway. I don't believe is has QAM, will I be sorry? And the top resolution is 1366x768, but I think I'll be happy with that.
the hd cable boxes dont have an atsc tuner in them. if the tv doesnt have a qam thats ok, cause that will show some hd channels in hd without the hdcable box. but you have the box. so no worries. i personally wouldnt have gotten the olevia but thats my opinion . good luck
