DELL 500 or ACER extensa 5220? which one is better?

I am going to buy a cheap Laptop with reasonable qualities. I have seen DELL 500 and ACER extensa 5220 are good choices but I don't know which one is better. Both have 1 GB RAM with CPU Intel Celeron 2.0, 1 Mb Cache. DELL 500 has HardDrive 120 while ACER's is 80. The LCD of the latter is Brite while the fromer has a normal LCD. DELL 500 is around 70$ more expensive.

Does any one can tell me how much different the quality of Brite LCD and Normal LCD is? To be honest I would like more to buy the DELL 500 but its LCD, which is not a brite one, has made me to hesitate.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

Dell 500 I have HP and Dell, HP has "the-best-possible" LCD (if you believe)... I use laptop for office work, so I don't care about LCD being brite or not. Dell 500 is a pretty good laptop, especially for that price. Few friends bought Acer (just one of them is satisfied, no comment). Anyways, it's like with a new car - gotta have luck.
