why is my "new" laptop so !#@! sloooooooow...before I even get on the web????
I have tried all the basics ... I show plenty of memory....the disk drive had to be replaced first thing(after oodles of grief from Laptop Brokers)took a month to be able to put in my info.....is this a hardware thing ??? I am hating opening this thing anymore ... also just freezes up when I open , say, "help " or even anything from the start menu ...or a program or.....aaaarrrggghhhh......... I have tried to restore to a previous date ,but it won't apply that ....of course "Laptop Brokers deny the problem is with this IBM Thinkpad, but the problems have been from day one....and are so across the board ..... I have a $20. Compaq from a garage sale that I got in desperation one day and it works WAAAAY better than this ThinkPad. hellllp
