Biostar motherboard not reading video card?
I purchased a barebones system from ebay, with a Biostar nf520-a2 motherboard. I have a Sapphire Radeon 9250 video card that isn't reading. I pulled the card from another working system and know it works. does the motherboard support this video card or is there another issue? The beep code is for video card error.
I am surprised you were able to insert that video card in your motherboard. The Radeon 9250 is an AGP type video card while your motherboard only has a PCI-E slot for video card. An AGP video card is not compatible with a PCI-E slot type motherboard. Thats why it is not working. I suggest that you just run using your onboard VGA.
