How do I upgrade or update BIOS?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S7404 that I've just added memory to. It is not recognizing 1 of the memory cards I added so it was suggested to me that I need to update/upgrade (don't know which) the bios. It is a 32-bit operating system.
The only reason one should ever upgrade the BIOS is if/when the mfr of the motherboard offers a BIOS revision to fix a known or potential problem that has come to light in the current version. Otherwise, don't mess with the BIOS.
