hamster bedding question??
ok, i currently have 2 female dwarf hammies in a Critter Trail 2 cage. i use carefresnh and its not too bad of cost, but i was thinking about using something else as i am thinking about moving them to a bi cage and also getting a syrinian hammie in another bin cage (which will make me use about 4-5x the carefresh) and i live in canada where a 23 litre bag of carefresh is 19.99+tx at pet valu and 21.99 at petsmart. i was wondering if i could use either of these beddings, but i dont want anything hard or scratchy, i want something soft and fluffy. these are what im concidering:

which 1 is best, remember if its hard, scratch i dont want it. i need something thats nice and soft. thank-you 
CEDAR??? youve dot to be kidding. cedar and pine can KILL small animals (rabits, rats, hamsters, gerbils etc)
hey i also have 2 female dwarf hamsters (called sugar&spice) and the bedding that i use for them is absorbant wood shavings, because of their breed they LOVE digging and burrying themselves in it and its safe because they cannot choke on pieces. it also keeps the bad smells at bay for longer. the two examples that you have given are pretty perffect. the second however is the best because the first one is wool like which means that they can get their paws/toes caught and they usually end up biting them off in panic : but the second is more similar to sand which they absolutely love rolling in to keep themselves clean
