Can I use gray colored braiding bands on a bay horse (black mane)?
i just went to state line tack to buy more black Tail Tamers Slick Bands for the bay horse i'll be riding in 4-H this year. i already have gray ones for the other horse i ride. i'm kind of mad because i just discovered they're all out of of black! do you think i can get away with using gray ones on the black mane? i'll get black ones as soon as they're in stock, though. or do you know of any other good black braiding bands?
i don't like sewing the braids into the mane. i find bands much easier and when its colored to match, they look just as good. i suck at sewing anyway

If you're just going to get black ones as soon as they're in stock, why waist your money on the gray ones? You could also try other websites like:
