My Dyson animal only picks up with the wand, and very little from the base.?
I have checked the brushes, washed the filter, checked the inlet pipes and u shaped tube and sole plate etc I can't see any blockage, It picks up better when i pull the handle towards me then when i push away, so i changed the internal hose assembly, but still the same problem. However if i run from the wand , (when its upright), fantastic suctions.
Everyone raves about Dyson but I have been through about 6 in 4 years and all mine have done the same as your describing, they also claim to never lose suction!
