Which Monitor should I buy? I have 2 examples.?

The first monitor is 179.99$
LG E2350V-SN Glossy Black 23" 5ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 DC 5,000,000:1

The second monitor is 179.99$
ASUS MS238H Glossy Black 23" 2ms Ring stand & Ergo-fit LED backlight LCD Monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 10,000,000 :1 (ASCR)

Now I understand the second looks like it has better specs, but what's contrast ratio? is there a difference in 5,000,000 and 10,000,000? Also the 2ms on the second one seems nice...but I've never heard of Asus...LG yea, and I don't want to receive cheap monitor that's broken or will eventually break within a few months...your thoughts?

i would go with the lg. first off because of the HD, and secondly because its lg. Even thought the asus has a better contrast ratio, when you bring it home and use it you wont know the difference. lg is a better brand, buy that one
