what do I need to major in when I go to college if I want to become an entertainment promoter?
I want to become an entertainment promoter, I want to rent venues, find entertainment (Dj or Live performer) and sell tickets to come in. I also might want to get into becoming a promoter/manager for artist who need events or albums to be publicized. I know I need to go into Business Marketing but I feel I need to get a minor or something in music or hospitality. Any advice? Majors?
I would advise you to major in Marketing or Communications and minor in music. If the college you want to attend offers more specified majors or minors, definitely pursue them.
