Game you´d reccomend for playing via adsl, avg PCs and few time to spare?
I am looking for some games to play with friends, with sort of average pcs: some 256M AGP, 1-2yo, 1-2GbRam, good 6Mb adsl. If we are successful, some "laptops" may reluctantly consider trying.
We are a bunch of +-30yo gaming geezers with jobs and few time. BTW, if the game would appeal to the women in the group it would be an very (*very*) welcomed plus. We would start head to head, but it would be nice to have 4+ more in the game.
I tried Ghost Recon some 3 years ago and was great fun. I am a big Civ4 fan, but i guess too complex for the purpose.
RTS, first person shooters, anything that may be quick to setup and good fun to get the thing rolling.
Any ideas?

i recomend 'gunbound' or 'worms armagedon'... i know the graphics are for child but it's really fun and women just love then.... and the matches are fast
