Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhh, can't update video drivers???

Using ABS notebook, like a Mayhem Z3 I think, has an ATI mobility radeon X1600 (very nice, use Borat voice), stupid ATI site says it's not compatible and I should go through ABS, the ABS site was made by people with down syndrome, I hate them, someone help me, please, I'll do anything... Oh, and I'm trying to play Half Life 2, it keeps crashing, I've googled all the error messages and everything points to outdated video drivers. I think with a little work I could turn this "Add Details" section of mine into a book, who wants to help me?

Download the latest driver from ABS site

And listen...before installing new driver follow this process:
1.Go to Device manager and click on video adapters and Uninstall the previous driver and Restart your computer.
2.Now Install the new driver and Restart again.

This way driver is installed properly....

In case all this still doesnt work...the last resort is to use DriverCleaner software to remove every trace of old driver..

P.S: Traces of previous video driver usually gives such problems.
